This year, to travel to a place with foliage is my desire. Unfortunately, the place is too far to reach. We live in the south of Texas. It is hard to see the foliage scenes, because the weather is not too cold enough.
But, .... the days after snowy day, I found that pretty scence was in my complex. Few trees turned red so quickly. I caught the moment and took some pictures.
I am fullfill with joy. I am really really a lucky person. For my dream, I had snow and foliage in this year. All I need to say, it's "thanks, for all of these".

I got my first award in US.
My poster in Kelsey Seybold 9th conference got the second place award and had a check for the prize. How wonderful it is.
I know a lot of students participate this conference every year and sent their posters in.
It's my first time and I got it. All I want to say is "Thanks, Dr. Shih". She gave a lot of help. She gave me an idea, a direction. She helps me to edit my akward English. She pushed me and encouraged me. I know, I am not good enough. I just had more lucky than others, since I had a good boss.
Anyway, it worths to celebrate.

Snowy in Houston is really really rare to see. I am so lucky. It happened this year. It was December 10, at night.
It was 4:30 pm. When I was on the way home, small ice dropped into my car. It was amazing. I prayed and prayed. I wished it would have snow.
My dream came true. It was 6:30 pm. More ice dropped from sky. Later on, it was snowy.
How a beautiful and wonderful night.
When I drove my car to pick up my husband around 7:00. It was keeping snowy and more and more. People love snow in Houston. I saw a man just standed on the street and took a video.
If the car had parked outside for a while, you would see snow almost covered the car. All snow white on the street, it was fantacy.
My husband and I was crazy like kids. We parked our car along the path, but not parked in our parking lot. It was just because we want our car to be covered by snow. After hours, it did.
We took pictures for evidence and momery. Once upon a time, it was snowy in Houston.
A wonderful white world was in Houston at that night.
